Senior Fullstack Engineer – BE-leaning

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +32 more states.

📋 Description

• Create engaging experiences for millions of users through mobile and web applications.

• Design and implement scalable applications and services within a cohesive product and system architecture.

• Collaborate with product and UX teams to brainstorm and assess product features.

• Work alongside developers to devise solutions and impart technical knowledge.

• Contribute to the establishment of development standards, enhance code quality, and drive engineering improvements.

• Advocate for automated testing and take ownership of backend service reliability.

• Engage in on-call responsibilities and manage incidents.

• Assess and experiment with new technologies.

• Assist teammates in overcoming challenges, resolving blockers, and completing tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience leading large-scale projects in distributed software systems as a software engineer.

• Expertise in full stack development using Node, Python, Golang, Ruby, and JavaScript with React or similar frameworks.

• Experience with SQL and relational databases such as MySQL / GCP Cloud SQL, including migrations, profiling, and optimization.

• Practical experience in developing APIs and services for mobile applications and web clients at scale.

• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects, including troubleshooting issues that span multiple systems.

• Familiarity with designing and architecting APIs, event streams, webhooks, etc.

• Experience working within a distributed system environment.
