Senior Fullstack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in China.

📋 Description

• Create and implement comprehensive gamified strategies for buyers to enhance purchases and engagement.

• Develop engaging challenges and reward systems within the buyer ecosystem, encompassing promotions, task completion systems, and virtual point systems.

• Innovate and implement new systems and features for both mobile and web applications.

• Evaluate performance metrics and user feedback to improve product strategies and ensure enjoyable user experiences.

• Contribute to the development of features for Whatnot's markets in the US and Europe as a member of the Games & Buyer Ecosystem Team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of development experience in mobile, web, or backend services.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Demonstrated success in delivering user-facing features.

• Experience in rapidly shipping products and features.

• Strong product instincts, with a focus on prioritizing user needs over technical solutions.

• Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English without dependence on translation applications.

• Experience in developing E-commerce products is a plus.

• Background in delivering end-to-end features, including UI and services, is an advantage.

• Must have legal authorization to work in China.
