Senior Fullstack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Node.js applications and services for production environments.

• Utilize AI coding tools like Claude Code and Cursor as essential resources in the development process.

• Convert product and business requirements into solid technical solutions.

• Employ AI to expedite development, refactoring, debugging, testing, documentation, and code creation while retaining ownership of the final code.

• Construct and integrate APIs with third-party commercial software.

• Create integrations across payment systems, fraud detection, originations, and the financial infrastructure.

• Utilize AWS services for deploying, operating, and scaling applications effectively.

• Assess and enhance AI-generated code for security, performance, reliability, and maintainability.

• Refactor legacy or externally developed systems into clean, sustainable Node.js services.

• Develop automated tests and ensure adherence to engineering quality standards.

• Diagnose production issues and contribute to improvements in observability and operations.

• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders.

• Make practical architectural decisions in a dynamic environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive commercial experience with Node.js / JavaScript / TypeScript.

• Strong expertise in API and backend development.

• Proven experience in building and integrating REST APIs and other service interfaces.

• In-depth understanding of software architecture and engineering principles.

• Experience with AWS is required.

• Proficiency in databases and data modeling.

• Familiarity with automated testing and CI/CD processes.

• Experience in integrating third-party SaaS and API platforms.

• Solid knowledge of Git and contemporary software development practices.

• Experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar technologies.

• Preferred background in FinTech or financial services.

• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Capacity to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced engineering environment.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and a practical, hands-on development approach.
