This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and develop business logic and domain modules within an ASP.NET Core API, adhering to Clean Architecture principles (Domain, Application, Infrastructure, API layers).
• Create and manage asynchronous background processing services (a .NET worker) for workflows that involve extensive document handling, coordinated through message queues.
• Develop and sustain multiple Next.js/React applications catering to diverse user groups (internal operations/back-office tools and external/customer-facing portals), utilizing a shared package layer.
• Construct relational data models and implement efficient data access code (EF Core / PostgreSQL).
• Integrate with cloud-native infrastructure components: message queues, blob storage, secrets management, and managed identity providers.
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms across various identity domains (workforce versus external/customer identity).
• Collaborate on API specifications and shared TypeScript types utilized by front-end applications.
• Engage in architectural decisions that ensure a growing monolith remains modular, maintainable, and thoroughly tested (including unit, integration, contract, and architecture tests).
• Operate within a human-in-the-loop product model: develop tools that enable operators to review, amend, and validate AI-assisted extraction results, with complete traceability of data changes from raw intake to final approval.
• Write and uphold automated tests throughout the stack and contribute to CI/CD pipeline maintenance.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and mentor junior engineers.
• Over 8 years of professional experience in software development, with significant expertise in C# / .NET (ASP.NET Core).
• More than 4 years of experience in building production front-end applications using React, including Next.js (App Router, server components/actions, route handlers).
• Strong comprehension of Clean/Layered Architecture, domain modeling, and separation of concerns in complex back-end systems.
• Proficient with relational databases and ORMs (EF Core or similar), including migrations and optimizing query performance.
• Solid skills in TypeScript and familiarity with working in a monorepo containing shared, versioned internal packages.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred; equivalents in AWS/GCP will be considered) — including messaging/queues, object storage, and secrets management.
• Experience in implementing or integrating OAuth2/OIDC-based authentication, preferably with enterprise identity providers (e.g., Microsoft Entra ID or similar).
• Strong discipline in automated testing: unit, integration, and contract testing for both back end and front end.
• Comfortable working across the entire stack without hand-offs — from database schema to API to user interface.
• Exceptional communication skills and experience working within a small, senior, high-autonomy engineering team.
• Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.
• Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.
• Flexible work hours and remote work options.
• Opportunities for professional development and continuous learning.
• Supportive work environment that values innovation and collaboration.
