Senior Fullstack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Design and develop business logic and domain modules within an ASP.NET Core API by adhering to Clean Architecture principles.

• Create and sustain asynchronous background processing services tailored for document-intensive workflows, utilizing message queues for coordination.

• Build and manage multiple Next.js/React applications for both internal operations and external/customer-facing portals, ensuring a unified package layer.

• Design relational data models and craft efficient data access code using EF Core and PostgreSQL.

• Integrate with cloud-native infrastructures which include message queues, blob storage, secrets management, and managed identity providers.

• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms across workforce and external/customer identity boundaries.

• Collaborate on API contracts and shared TypeScript types that are utilized by front-end applications.

• Engage in architectural decisions that promote the maintainability and thorough testing of the modular monolith.

• Develop human-in-the-loop tooling for the review, correction, and approval of AI-assisted extraction results, ensuring complete traceability.

• Write and uphold automated tests throughout the stack and contribute to the health of the CI/CD pipeline.

• Take part in code reviews, technical design discussions, and provide mentorship to less experienced engineers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of professional software development experience, with significant expertise in C# / .NET (ASP.NET Core).

• More than 4 years of experience in building production front-end applications using React, including Next.js (App Router, server components/actions, route handlers).

• A solid understanding of Clean/Layered Architecture, domain modeling, and the separation of concerns in complex back-end systems.

• Experience with relational databases and ORMs (EF Core or equivalent), focusing on migrations and query performance.

• Strong TypeScript capabilities and familiarity with working in a monorepo environment with shared, versioned internal packages.

• Background in cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP equivalents considered), including messaging/queues, object storage, and secrets management.

• Experience in implementing or integrating OAuth2/OIDC-based authentication, preferably with enterprise identity providers like Microsoft Entra ID or similar.

• Strong commitment to automated testing practices: unit, integration, and contract testing for both back end and front end.

• Proficient in working across the full stack without hand-offs, from database schema to API to UI.

• Exceptional communication skills with experience in a small, senior, high-autonomy engineering team.
