This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Design and develop business logic and domain modules within an ASP.NET Core API, adhering to Clean Architecture principles (Domain, Application, Infrastructure, API layers).
• Create and manage asynchronous background processing services (a .NET worker) tailored for document-intensive workflows, utilizing message queues for coordination.
• Develop and sustain multiple Next.js/React applications that support internal operations/back-office tools and external/customer-facing portals, sharing a unified package layer.
• Design relational data models and craft efficient data access code utilizing EF Core / PostgreSQL.
• Integrate with cloud-native infrastructure components, including message queues, blob storage, secrets management, and managed identity providers.
• Implement authentication and authorization protocols across various identity boundaries (workforce versus external/customer identity).
• Collaborate on API contracts and shared TypeScript types utilized by front-end applications.
• Engage in architectural decisions that ensure a growing monolith remains modular, maintainable, and well-tested.
• Develop tools that enable operators to review, correct, and validate AI-assisted extraction outcomes, maintaining full traceability from initial intake to final approval.
• Author and maintain automated tests throughout the stack and contribute to the health of the CI/CD pipeline.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and provide mentorship to less experienced engineers.
• Over 8 years of professional software development experience, with extensive expertise in C# / .NET (ASP.NET Core).
• More than 4 years of experience in building production front-end applications using React, including Next.js (App Router, server components/actions, route handlers).
• Strong grasp of Clean/Layered Architecture, domain modeling, and the separation of concerns in complex back-end systems.
• Proficiency with relational databases and ORMs (EF Core or equivalent), including experience with migrations and optimizing query performance.
• Solid TypeScript expertise and familiarity with working in a monorepo that features shared, versioned internal packages.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP equivalents are acceptable) — including messaging/queues, object storage, and secrets management.
• Experience in implementing or integrating OAuth2/OIDC-based authentication, ideally with enterprise identity providers (e.g., Microsoft Entra ID or similar).
• Strong discipline in automated testing: unit, integration, and contract testing for both back end and front end.
• Comfortable working across the entire stack without hand-offs — from database schema to API to UI.
• Excellent communication skills and experience working within a small, senior, high-autonomy engineering team.
• Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.
• Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.
• Flexible working hours and remote work options.
• Opportunities for professional development and continuing education.
• A collaborative and inclusive work culture.
