β’ Create and manage asynchronous background processing services (a .NET worker) tailored for document-intensive workflows, coordinated through message queues.
β’ Develop and sustain various Next.js/React applications catering to diverse user groups (internal operations/back-office tools and external/customer-facing portals), utilizing a shared package layer.
β’ Craft relational data models and write optimized data access code using EF Core and PostgreSQL.
β’ Integrate with cloud-native infrastructure components such as message queues, blob storage, secrets management, and managed identity providers.

β’ Collaborate on API contracts and shared TypeScript types that are utilized by front-end applications.
β’ Engage in architectural discussions aimed at maintaining a growing monolith that is modular, maintainable, and thoroughly tested (including unit, integration, contract, and architecture tests).
β’ Operate within a human-in-the-loop product model, developing tools that enable operators to review, amend, and approve AI-assisted extraction results, ensuring full traceability from raw intake to final approval.
β’ Write and uphold automated tests throughout the stack while contributing to the health of the CI/CD pipeline.
β’ Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and provide mentorship to less experienced engineers.
β’ A minimum of 8 years of professional software development experience, with substantial expertise in C# / .NET (ASP.NET Core).
β’ At least 4 years of experience in building production front-end applications with React, including Next.js (App Router, server components/actions, and route handlers).
β’ A solid understanding of Clean/Layered Architecture, domain modeling, and the separation of concerns in complex back-end systems.
β’ Experience with relational databases and ORMs (EF Core or equivalent), including handling migrations and optimizing query performance.

β’ Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP equivalents are acceptable) β encompassing messaging/queues, object storage, and secrets management.

β’ Strong discipline in automated testing, including unit, integration, and contract testing for both back end and front end.

β’ Exceptional communication skills and a background in working within a small, senior, high-autonomy engineering team.

β’ Flexible work hours and remote work options.
