Senior Fullstack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Develop and construct business logic and domain modules within an ASP.NET Core API, adhering to Clean Architecture principles.

• Create and sustain asynchronous background processing services tailored for document-intensive workflows, managed via message queues.

• Design and manage several Next.js/React applications serving both internal operations and external/customer-facing portals, utilizing a shared package layer.

• Establish relational data models and write efficient data access code leveraging EF Core and PostgreSQL.

• Integrate with cloud-native infrastructure, including message queues, blob storage, secrets management, and managed identity providers.

• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms across workforce and external/customer identity boundaries.

• Collaborate on API contracts and shared TypeScript types that are utilized by front-end applications.

• Engage in architectural decisions that ensure the modular monolith remains maintainable and thoroughly tested.

• Develop human-in-the-loop tools for evaluating, rectifying, and approving AI-assisted extraction results, ensuring full traceability.

• Create and maintain automated tests throughout the stack and contribute to the health of the CI/CD pipeline.

• Take part in code reviews and technical design discussions while mentoring less experienced engineers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of professional software development experience, with extensive knowledge in C# / .NET (ASP.NET Core).

• More than 4 years of experience building production front-end applications using React, including Next.js (App Router, server components/actions, route handlers).

• Strong grasp of Clean/Layered Architecture, domain modeling, and the separation of concerns in complex back-end systems.

• Proficiency in relational databases and ORMs (EF Core or equivalent), including migrations and optimizing query performance.

• Robust TypeScript skills and familiarity with operating within a monorepo that includes shared, versioned internal packages.

• Experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP equivalents considered), covering messaging/queues, object storage, and secrets management.

• Background in implementing or integrating OAuth2/OIDC-based authentication, preferably with enterprise identity providers like Microsoft Entra ID or similar.

• Strong commitment to automated testing practices: unit, integration, and contract testing on both back end and front end.

• Comfortable engaging across the full stack without hand-offs, from database schema to API to UI.

• Exceptional communication skills and experience collaborating within a small, senior, high-autonomy engineering team.
