This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Create and develop business logic and domain modules within an ASP.NET Core API, adhering to Clean Architecture principles (Domain, Application, Infrastructure, API layers).
• Design and sustain asynchronous background processing services (a .NET worker) tailored for document-intensive workflows, coordinated via message queues.
• Construct and support various Next.js/React applications for internal operations/back-office tools and external/customer-facing platforms, utilizing a shared package layer.
• Architect relational data models and produce efficient data access code using EF Core / PostgreSQL.
• Integrate with cloud-native systems: message queues, blob storage, secrets management, and managed identity providers.
• Implement authentication and authorization across diverse identity boundaries (workforce versus external/customer identity).
• Collaborate on API contracts and shared TypeScript types that are utilized by front-end applications.
• Engage in architectural decisions that ensure a growing monolith remains modular, maintainable, and thoroughly tested.
• Develop tools that enable operators to review, correct, and approve AI-assisted extraction results, ensuring full traceability from raw intake to final approval.
• Compose and uphold automated tests throughout the stack, contributing to CI/CD pipeline integrity.
• Take part in code reviews, technical design discussions, and provide mentorship to less experienced engineers.
• Over 8 years of professional software development experience, with substantial expertise in C# / .NET (ASP.NET Core).
• More than 4 years of experience in building production front-end applications using React, including Next.js (App Router, server components/actions, route handlers).
• Strong grasp of Clean/Layered Architecture, domain modeling, and the separation of concerns in complex back-end systems.
• Proficiency with relational databases and ORMs (EF Core or equivalent), including migrations and query optimization.
• Solid TypeScript skills and familiarity with working in a monorepo that includes shared, versioned internal packages.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP equivalents considered) — messaging/queues, object storage, secrets management.
• Background in implementing or integrating OAuth2/OIDC-based authentication, ideally with enterprise identity providers (e.g., Microsoft Entra ID or similar).
• Strong discipline in automated testing: unit, integration, and contract testing on both back end and front end.
• Comfortable navigating the full stack without hand-offs — from database schema to API to UI.
• Exceptional communication skills and experience collaborating in a small, senior, high-autonomy engineering team.
• Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.
• Generous paid time off and flexible work arrangements.
• Professional development opportunities and support for continued learning.
• Collaborative and inclusive work environment.
