Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer, Backend

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Break down intricate business challenges into clear technical specifications that allow AI agents to implement code effectively and accurately.

• Design and manage domain services using TypeScript and Node.js, which encompass case lifecycle state machines, pricing engines, and payment-schedule logic.

• Drive "business-rule archaeology" by retrieving logic from legacy Java and PL/SQL packages for reimplementation in a contemporary, test-driven environment.

• Ensure financial-grade precision by creating append-only audit trails, enforcing segregation of duties, and producing reproducible calculations for federal audits.

• Deliver end-to-end business capabilities across the complete stack, from UI components built in React to infrastructure-as-code utilizing AWS CDK.

• Conduct thorough peer reviews and maintain a consistently green main branch through continuous integration and automated testing tools (Vitest/Playwright).

• Work alongside stakeholders to provide a continuously available beta environment, facilitating rapid iterations and alignment with mission objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible for a U.S. SECRET clearance.

• Over 7 years of experience in building and maintaining production web systems.

• Practical experience with Agentic AI development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex, or similar) on professional codebases.

• Professional expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL.

• Proven capability to operate across the complete ecosystem, including cloud infrastructure (AWS), CI/CD pipelines, and security fundamentals.

• Established experience with modern ORMs like Prisma and the development/maintenance of REST APIs.
