Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Create and develop contemporary eCommerce services for a scalable, secure, AI-enhanced platform.

• Build accessible, responsive, and high-performance front-end interfaces using React or comparable frameworks.

• Design and uphold REST/GraphQL APIs, services, data models, and background workers.

• Develop and sustain scalable, maintainable, and reliable RESTful APIs and microservices.

• Design and enhance SQL and NoSQL database schemas, queries, and performance metrics.

• Take ownership of the software delivery lifecycle, encompassing technical design, coding, code reviews, automated testing, deployment, and documentation.

• Produce clean, maintainable, and thoroughly tested unit, integration, and end-to-end code.

• Equip applications with metrics, logs, and traces; assist in creating alerting systems, dashboards, and runbooks.

• Design with a focus on security and privacy, including input validation, authentication/authorization, and performance budgets.

• Engage in an on-call rotation and lead post-incident evaluations.

• Collaborate with Product, Design, Engineering leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders.

• Articulate trade-offs, risks, and timelines effectively.

• Contribute through constructive feedback, collaborative pairing, knowledge sharing, and fostering a review culture.

• Compose concise design documents and tickets.

• Contribute to the establishment of technical standards, developer tools, and ongoing improvement efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.

• At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience, with direct ownership of production systems.

• Practical experience with Node.js, React, and TypeScript.

• Familiarity with component architecture, state management, data-fetching patterns, forms, accessibility, profiling, and testing methodologies.

• Proficiency in using React Testing Library and Playwright.

• Experience in designing and implementing APIs, asynchronous patterns, and scalable back-end services.

• Strong understanding of HTTP, caching, cookies, security headers/CSP, OAuth/OIDC, and secure coding practices.

• Extensive experience with SQL and NoSQL database design, migrations, and performance enhancements.

• Proven track record of delivering reliable, observable, and maintainable software.

• Ability to work collaboratively with Product and Design teams in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and systems-thinking capabilities.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
