This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Create, develop, and sustain scalable applications and services for marketing, data processing, and consumer-oriented web platforms.
• Construct solutions that support major automotive OEM programs and serve hundreds of dealership clients across the nation.
• Work in collaboration with executive leadership, product owners, business stakeholders, and engineering teams.
• Investigate, prototype, and apply new technologies, proof-of-concepts, and enhancements to the platform.
• Shape product direction, APIs, and technical standards.
• Oversee projects from the initial concept through to deployment.
• Enhance platform performance, scalability, reliability, and developer productivity.
• Diagnose and address complex technical challenges across distributed systems and production environments.
• Mentor and guide developers through code reviews, technical discussions, and best practices.
• Engage in CI/CD and automated deployment processes.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools and workflows to boost productivity, code quality, testing, and operational efficiency.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience in building enterprise applications.
• Extensive experience in full stack .NET application development.
• Advanced skills in C# and the .NET ecosystem.
• Proficiency in Angular, Vue.js, or React.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and related data technologies.
• Familiarity with distributed caching, search, streaming, and large-scale data platforms like Redis, Elasticsearch, Kafka, Snowflake, Cassandra, or similar technologies.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and application performance.
• Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Background in TDD, automated testing, CI/CD, and code quality tools.
• Familiarity with AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, or similar technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to independently lead projects to successful outcomes.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative development environment.
• Experience with Docker and containerized applications is preferred.
• Experience in designing and deploying .NET solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP using Kubernetes, serverless functions, or virtualized infrastructure is preferred.
• Experience in building high-scale SaaS or multi-tenant applications is preferred.
• Knowledge of the automotive industry is a plus.
• Familiarity with observability, monitoring, and performance optimization tools is a plus.
• Must reside within the Continental U.S.; preference for Eastern or Central time zones.
• Ability to support hours from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM EST.
