This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and enhance the core backend systems and data pipelines of the platform.

• Oversee the complete development process of essential platform features.

• Guarantee quality, performance, and scalability of the systems.

• Establish architecture and standards for identity management, security measures, and third-party API integrations.

• Advocate for reliability engineering, DevOps, and infrastructure-as-code best practices.

• Work in collaboration with product, design, and data teams to influence the platform's evolution.

• Partner with skilled engineers on full-stack development that spans both backend and frontend technologies.

• Engage in hands-on technical tasks and high-level problem-solving activities.

• Over 6 years of experience in software engineering.

• Demonstrated history of leading intricate projects from start to finish.

• Proficient in system architecture and designing scalable, reliable software solutions.

• Strong backend expertise, particularly with Node.js.

• Familiarity with modern cloud technologies, such as AWS or comparable platforms.

• Experience in implementing secure systems and managing sensitive information.

• Background in integrating identity verification processes.

• Ability to combine strategic thinking with practical execution.

• Proven experience in creating and delivering scalable software products.
