Senior Full-Stack Engineer – Modern Backend, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, test, enhance, and sustain features across the client's product range.

• Construct and support contemporary frontend applications utilizing React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

• Design and integrate backend services, RESTful APIs, and data-centric applications.

• Utilize relational databases and SQL to enhance product functionality and manage data-intensive systems.

• Employ AI tools as an integral part of daily software development, including coding, testing, debugging, and optimization.

• Assess and validate AI-generated code to ensure quality, security, performance, and maintainability.

• Collaborate with engineering, product, research, design, data, and QA teams.

• Author and maintain automated unit, integration, and API tests.

• Engage in code reviews, documentation, CI/CD workflows, and production readiness tasks.

• Contribute to scalable data visualization experiences and enhance engineering practices.

• Guarantee that software is secure, observable, maintainable, and aligns with product and business priorities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in developing production software using Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or another contemporary backend language.

• At least 1 year of professional experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.

• More than 1 year of professional experience in building applications with React.

• Over 3 years of experience in writing SQL and working with relational databases.

• Hands-on experience utilizing AI tools throughout the software development lifecycle, including code generation, testing, debugging, and optimization.

• Capability to evaluate AI-generated outputs and recognize potential quality, security, and data governance risks.

• Strong foundational knowledge in software engineering, including software design, data structures, algorithms, and performance enhancement.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver dependable production software.

• Experience with Java using Spring / Spring Boot is a plus.

• Familiarity with C#/.NET, ASP.NET, WCF, or Oracle is advantageous.

• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar technologies is a bonus.

• Experience in automated unit, integration, and API testing is beneficial.

• Familiarity with CI/CD and production deployment practices is a plus.

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWS is an advantage.

• Familiarity with Snowflake or BigQuery is a plus.

• Experience in modernizing legacy applications is a bonus.

• Background in data-intensive applications, analytics, visualization, and AI-enabled products is advantageous.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
