Senior Full Stack Engineer, Front-end Focus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of growth initiatives from inception with commercial partners to technical execution and result measurement.

• Collaborate daily with marketing, CRM, and product teams to implement campaigns, launches, and customer acquisition pathways.

• Design, implement, and assess A/B tests in conjunction with analysts.

• Develop and enhance zoe.com, focusing on web performance, accessibility, and conversion optimization across landing pages, sign-up processes, and checkout.

• Make practical trade-offs as priorities evolve and assist in determining what to develop, postpone, or eliminate.

• Work across the tech stack by shaping APIs and making backend modifications in Kotlin or Python.

• Contribute to the communal design system and component library.

• Release updates to production on a daily basis, often multiple times, accompanied by testing and monitoring.

• Collaborate with marketing, CRM, product, design, and analytics teams to translate ideas into experiments and outcomes.

• Create acquisition and conversion pathways for app subscriptions and physical products.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional software development experience, primarily focused on front-end technologies.

• Extensive experience with TypeScript, React, and Next.js.

• Capability to develop fast, accessible, and thoroughly tested web experiences.

• Experience collaborating closely with commercial areas such as marketing, growth, sales, or CRM.

• Practical experience with experimentation and analytics, including A/B testing, conversion optimization, or funnel analysis.

• Ability to work independently, take charge of ambiguous challenges, make decisions with minimal guidance, and keep stakeholders updated.

• Familiarity with a backend programming language such as Python, Kotlin, or Java.

• Comfortable making changes to backend systems.

• Background in a startup or scale-up environment.

• Permanent right to work in the UK, Ireland, Spain, or Germany.

• No requirement for visa sponsorship.

• Experience with Optimizely or similar experimentation tools is a plus.

• Background in e-commerce, subscriptions, or direct-to-consumer growth is a bonus.

• Experience in building or contributing to a design system is advantageous.

• Familiarity with React Native or interest in growth across web and mobile platforms is a plus.

• Production experience with Kotlin or Python is a bonus.
