Front-End Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, sustain, and improve front-end applications and user interfaces

• Develop screens, components, and features in alignment with specifications and prototypes

• Transform Figma designs and prototypes into responsive, reusable user interfaces

• Utilize Atomic Design principles for the structure and development of components

• Engage in development using modern JavaScript, semantic HTML, and CSS

• Integrate applications with APIs and backend services

• Investigate problems, resolve defects, and upgrade existing applications

• Contribute to the quality, readability, maintainability, and performance of the code

• Take part in code reviews and employ Git and Pull Requests throughout the development process

• Create and maintain automated tests based on project requirements

• Consider accessibility, security, and user experience when crafting solutions

• Engage in planning, tracking, and prioritizing tasks using Jira and Scrum

• Collaborate with development, design, product, and other related teams

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed higher education degree

• Strong understanding of modern JavaScript (ES6+)

• Proficient in semantic HTML5 and CSS3

• Experience with responsive design and a mobile-first methodology

• Familiarity with DOM manipulation and native browser APIs

• Capability to interpret layouts, components, specifications, and Figma prototypes

• Understanding of Atomic Design principles and componentization

• Experience with Git and Pull Request workflows

• Ability to comprehend existing code, troubleshoot issues, and safely implement enhancements

• Knowledge of development best practices and code organization

• Experience with React and/or Next.js (preferred)

• Experience with WebView or hybrid applications (preferred)

• Familiarity with automated testing and build tools (preferred)

• Knowledge of TypeScript, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines (preferred)

• Understanding of accessibility, WCAG, and web application security (preferred)

• Experience with agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, and Jira (preferred)
