Senior Full Stack Engineer, Backend Focused

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of, develop, and maintain backend services

• Execute API integrations

• Assist with frontend development tasks

• Contribute to the automation of infrastructure

• Produce clean and well-tested code

• Engage actively in code reviews

• Collaborate closely within agile frameworks using Jira and Kanban

• Participate in on-call duty rotations

• Address incidents as they arise

• Facilitate proactive problem-solving

• Innovate new technologies within a distributed team to address real business challenges for a retail project

⛳️ Requirements

• Multiple years of professional experience in software development

• Strong backend proficiency in Kotlin, Spring Boot, and MongoDB or other NoSQL databases

• Established skills in cloud infrastructure

• Experience in implementing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform

• Proficiency in designing CI/CD pipelines

• Experience in ensuring high availability and reliability of production services using Kubernetes and AWS/EKS

• Excellent communication skills in English (CEFR C1 level), both technical and interpersonal

• An open and collaborative approach

• Adaptability to changing requirements

• Nice to have: Experience in data engineering that brings ML models and data science solutions into production

• Nice to have: Knowledge of the e-commerce domain, including recommender systems, ranking, or information retrieval

• Nice to have: Familiarity with SOLR or other search engines such as Elasticsearch
