Senior Full Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional software across the Rosterfy stack as part of an expanding SaaS engineering team.

• Design and implement scalable features utilizing Laravel, PHP, React/Next.js, and AWS.

• Collaborate with QA, Product, and Design teams to produce user-impacting features.

• Develop and refine APIs, integrations, and reusable components.

• Enhance CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and overall system performance.

• Set an example in code quality, documentation, and peer mentorship.

• Contribute to architectural enhancements, technical explorations, feature scoping, and the execution of engineering strategies.

• Ensure accessibility and localization across the multi-region SaaS platform.

• Uphold compliance-focused engineering practices, including ISO 27001 and SOC 2 standards.

• Oversee test strategy and validation; manage test coverage, pipeline health, and regression control.

• Influence architectural decisions, engineering standards, and medium-term architectural direction.

• Participate in Rosterfy’s transition toward version 3, involving event-driven architecture and domain-driven development.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in building SaaS products from start to finish, preferably in multi-region settings.

• Proficient in working across the complete stack — from frontend to backend.

• Strong expertise in Laravel (or modern PHP frameworks) and contemporary frontend technologies (React, Next.js, or Vue), XDebug, and writing unit tests.

• Expertise in both Frontend and Backend Engineering.

• Experience with mobile development (React Native).

• Familiarity with ISO/SOC2 compliant environments.

• Understanding of accessibility, scalability, and localization for a global user base.

• Comfortable working within cloud-native stacks utilizing AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools.

• Experienced in designing within and around a modular monolith architecture.

• Proficient in relational databases (Aurora MySQL, PostgreSQL), with a strong emphasis on data modeling for scalability and performance.

• Ability to deliver features quickly (Copilot, Gemini, test automation, scaffolding).

• Experience in creating AI-enhanced product experiences (LLM API usage, prompt design).

• Mentoring others on the integration of GenAI into workflows.
