This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Design, develop, and deploy full-stack features from start to finish.
• Create TypeScript/Node.js backend services that adhere to data residency and regulatory standards.
• Develop React user interfaces for both patient-facing and clinician-facing applications.
• Structure and manage application data using MongoDB and PostgreSQL while following regulatory compliance best practices.
• Integrate functionalities with ML/AI services and implement safety measures.
• Contribute to product strategy and question requirements that do not benefit users.
• Assess the impact of released features.
• Prioritize security, data residency, and compliance as fundamental aspects for patient and clinical data.
• Collaborate within a cross-functional team to seamlessly integrate features into the product.
• Engage in code reviews and uphold engineering standards.
• Manage incoming alerts for collective error monitoring.
• Take part in periodic SideQuest hackathon events.
• Over 4 years of professional experience in full-stack engineering.
• Availability during North American business hours, preferably in the Eastern time zone, with daily overlap with colleagues in Europe (UTC to UTC+3).
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada; Limbic is unable to provide visa sponsorship.
• Proven history of delivering features that have a measurable impact on users.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
• Solid experience in React for building production-ready web applications.
• Comfortable working with PostgreSQL, document databases, and key-value stores.
• Experience utilizing AWS services in production and CI/CD pipelines, including GitHub Actions.
• Proficient in Git.
• Familiarity with GraphQL and tRPC is preferred.
• Experience with queue-based systems such as BullMQ and Redis is a plus.
• Background in regulated or security-sensitive environments is advantageous.
• Experience with React Native is a bonus.
