Senior Full Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and deliver full-stack features throughout the application layer, encompassing everything from database architecture to user interface.

• Produce clean and thoroughly tested code.

• Engage proactively in code review processes.

• Contribute to critical technical decisions regarding the technology stack, frameworks, and system architecture.

• Assist in the maintenance and enhancement of coding standards, documentation practices, and deployment methodologies.

• Utilize AI coding tools and agentic workflows in everyday development tasks.

• Identify and explore opportunities to integrate AI functionalities into the product.

• Keep abreast of advancements in development tools and propose actionable enhancements.

• Convert product requirements into well-defined technical solutions.

• Collaborate with product teams, designers, and stakeholders in an iterative, remote-first setting.

• Highlight technical risks early and facilitate their resolution.

• Provide support to a small, agile team as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional software engineering experience with robust, up-to-date full stack expertise.

• Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript frontend frameworks.

• Experience in server-side development.

• Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases.

• Knowledge of RESTful or GraphQL APIs.

• Practical experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.

• Practical use of AI coding tools such as Claude, Copilot, or Cursor.

• Strong sense of ownership and ability to see tasks through to completion.

• Ability to navigate ambiguity and changing requirements comfortably.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
