Senior Full-Stack Engineer – AI-Driven Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Co-manage a segment of the media-planning platform, including Media Planning, Reporting Center, Data, or API.

• Collaborate with a small team of engineers and client relations across both backend and frontend.

• Determine what features to develop and how they integrate based on customer requirements and business goals.

• Ensure the long-term architecture, quality, and user value of the designated area are upheld.

• Troubleshoot production issues as they arise.

• Address customer escalations effectively.

• Make intricate design choices.

• Work alongside users, client relations, and various teams.

• Influence the company's approach to utilizing AI coding agents.

• Set team backlogs and priorities in a collaborative manner.

• Make technical and product decisions based on reversibility and impact considerations.

• Maintain platform coherence while permitting teams to modify other areas.

• Engage in team discussions, ad-hoc meetings, and share knowledge.

• Contribute to enhancing engineering processes as AI tools continue to develop.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in developing and managing complex web applications across both backend and frontend.

• Ability to identify high-quality code, including that written by others.

• Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails, Phoenix Framework, or a comparable web framework.

• Good understanding of a frontend framework such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.

• Familiarity with a relational database like PostgreSQL.

• Practical experience with AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor.

• Realistic insight into the strengths and weaknesses of AI coding agents.

• Excellent written communication skills.

• Commitment to testing, maintainability, and architecture.

• Comfortable declining changes that may work but do not align with the architecture or product vision.

• Capability to communicate with users and transform vague requirements into specific acceptance criteria.

• Proficient in English and/or German; fluency in German is not mandatory as English is the company language.

• Legal work permission and residence in Germany, or a willingness to relocate to Germany.

• Knowledge of Elm, Elixir, or multi-tenant SaaS applications is advantageous.

• Experience in media or advertising is a plus.
