Senior Full Stack Developer – React, FastAPI, Django

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Enhance frontend functionality while actively improving user experience and visual aesthetics.

• Design and take ownership of intricate full-stack features within the accounting platform.

• Manage features comprehensively, addressing user flows, edge cases, error handling, and system architecture.

• Utilize AI engineering tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, GitHub Copilot, or similar as your main development approach.

• Modify and build upon the Python/FastAPI and Django backend, including CRUD operations and more complex changes.

• Play an integral role in code quality and architectural decisions within a small team of senior developers.

• Demonstrated professional experience in software development with a history of managing and delivering complex projects.

• Proficiency in React for creating high-quality, accessible, and production-ready user interfaces.

• A keen eye for design and precision in the implementation of layouts and components.

• Practical experience with AI-assisted engineering tools, including Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, or GitHub Copilot.

• Capability to independently navigate and enhance a Python/FastAPI backend.

• A systems-thinking approach to mapping complete features, edge cases, and potential failure modes before commencing coding.

• Proficient in English.

• Knowledge of the German language is a valuable asset, though not mandatory.

• Experience in agentic AI systems or products powered by LLMs is advantageous.

• Familiarity with B2B fintech, PostgreSQL, or German accounting standards like DATEV is a plus.
