Senior Full Stack Developer – B2B platform, Laravel, Nuxt/Vue

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and deploy comprehensive B2B features utilizing Laravel/Doctrine JSON:API endpoints, Nuxt 3/4 Vue components, and server routes.

• Create and enhance embedded widget systems, Nitro server engine logic, iframe cross-origin messaging, client event-tracking SDKs, and data ingestion pipelines.

• Architect relational MySQL schemas, Doctrine entity mappings, migrations, RESTful/JSON:API contracts, and Redis caching layers.

• Incorporate Cursor and Gemini into the development process for prototyping, refactoring, test generation, and features driven by LLM.

• Integrate and manage third-party CRM platforms, error tracking systems, payment gateways, and cloud data services.

• Set up automated test coverage for PHPUnit, Playwright, and Vitest within CI/CD pipelines.

• Perform code reviews and work closely with product managers, QA engineers, and leadership teams.

• Take ownership of the technical implementation of core products across the entire stack.

• Facilitate connections for millions of students to scholarship and funding opportunities through ScholarshipOwl’s AI-driven marketplace.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of professional experience in full-stack web development.

• Minimum of 1 year actively utilizing AI coding assistants in everyday engineering tasks.

• Strong commercial background with PHP 8+ and Laravel frameworks.

• Familiarity with Laravel service architecture, queues/jobs, middleware, and OAuth2/Passport authentication.

• Extensive knowledge of Vue 3 Composition API, Nuxt 3 or Nuxt 4, TypeScript, Pinia, and Tailwind CSS.

• Proficient in relational database modeling and optimizing MySQL queries.

• Experience with ORMs, particularly Doctrine ORM/DBAL or significant Eloquent experience with a willingness to adapt to Doctrine.

• Thorough understanding of RESTful/JSON:API standards, validation error mapping, request formatting, and Redis caching strategies.

• Daily engagement with AI coding tools such as Cursor and Gemini.

• Practical experience with PHPUnit and frontend/E2E testing using Playwright, Vitest, or Cypress.

• Knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Linux/container environments.

• Excellent written communication skills in a technical context.

• High level of autonomy in navigating multi-service codebases and resolving complex issues.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical software engineering experience is considered an advantage.

• Additional preferred experience includes Doctrine ORM/DBAL, embeddable widgets, JavaScript tracking SDKs, iframe cross-origin communication, Nitro, Bun, PrimeVue, BigQuery, Stripe/Braintree, Google Gemini APIs, and GCP.

• Bonus experience in technical leadership, B2B SaaS, EdTech, recruitment/ATS, or conversion tracking.
