Senior Full Stack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Assume complete responsibility for contributed products from their conceptualization through to delivery, quality, and ongoing operation within a regulated setting.

• Assist in shaping product direction, identifying problems, and making design and delivery decisions.

• Adhere to and enhance an AI-assisted software development lifecycle to analyze, design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain features comprehensively.

• Implement established software development principles and patterns.

• Function within engineering standards and automated quality gates to ensure correctness, security, and auditability.

• Provide suggestions for improving the development process.

• Mentor peers and elevate the team’s standards and quality of work.

⛳️ Requirements

• A relevant degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field.

• A minimum of 10 years of pertinent work experience.

• Capability to architect and design full-stack solutions comprehensively.

• Strong technical knowledge of PostgreSQL, including schema design and migrations.

• Solid understanding of microservices and messaging architectures and protocols, such as gRPC, pub/sub, event streaming, and WebSockets.

• Proficient knowledge of Docker and familiarity with CI/CD and secure DevOps practices.

• Practical experience with AI-assisted development tools, including AI coding assistants and agents.

• Exceptional communication and documentation skills.

• Proficient in both spoken and written English.

• Preferred: experience in financial services, particularly in capital markets, custody, or trading software.

• Preferred: knowledge of blockchain, distributed-ledger technology, and tokenization of real-world assets.

• Preferred: experience in regulated environments.

• Preferred: knowledge of cloud platforms and hands-on experience.

• Preferred: experience with JVM, Kotlin, Rust, and large-scale event-driven systems.

• Preferred: based in or around Metro Manila, with the flexibility to work part of the week in the office if a hybrid arrangement is suitable.
