Senior Full Stack AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the design and full-stack development of product experiences from start to finish.

• Create responsive frontend applications utilizing React and TypeScript.

• Build scalable backend services and APIs leveraging Python and Rust.

• Enhance application performance, reliability, security, and cost-effectiveness.

• Convert unclear product and technical challenges into production-ready solutions in collaboration with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams.

• Construct and refine cloud infrastructure, databases, integrations, automated tests, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Integrate applications with AWS infrastructure seamlessly.

• Develop AI-driven product functionalities using LLMs, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and AI agents.

• Recognize technical and product opportunities and convert them into actionable plans.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in software engineering.

• Strong expertise in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Proficient in RAG, embeddings, vector databases, AI agents, and prompt evaluation methodologies.

• Production experience in building applications with React.

• Background in developing backend APIs and distributed systems.

• Deep knowledge of AWS.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes.

• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Experience with Rust, Go, or another statically typed language is advantageous.

• Excellent communication, product thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

• Comfort in taking ownership of unclear technical issues and guiding them from design to production.

• Ability to function effectively in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

• Residing in NYC with the option to work from our Brooklyn office or remotely, along with the capacity to travel up to 30% of the year for in-person team collaboration.
