Director of Engineering – AI Platform Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Design and construct a new platform for Adheris utilizing agentic AI.

• Take ownership of the software and cloud components of the new platform.

• Provide technical guidance to the current core engineering team.

• Manage the development of the new platform, which is anticipated to take up about 70% of the role, while also supervising existing engineering operations.

• Optimize resource allocation between the platform project and core engineering as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated success as a hands-on technical leader who actively architects and writes production code.

• Practical experience with agentic AI development tools.

• Extensive knowledge in architecting and managing production workloads at scale on a leading public cloud platform.

• GCP expertise is highly preferred; significant AWS or Azure architecture experience with a proven ability to adapt quickly is also welcomed.

• Background in healthcare, healthcare technology, pharmacy, or other regulated sectors is strongly preferred.

• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and management of PHI is strongly preferred.
