Senior Frontend Engineer – Media Production

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Create and execute a contemporary headless front-end architecture for a high-traffic global news platform.

• Ensure the timely delivery of significant front-end releases to meet an ambitious launch timeline.

• Establish and promote front-end standards regarding code quality, component design, testing, and code reviews.

• Take responsibility for Core Web Vitals, SEO, accessibility, and page-speed performance across user-facing interfaces.

• Integrate scalable headless CMS solutions with internal backend APIs.

• Mentor mid-level engineers and collaborate with engineering leadership on architectural strategies.

• Utilize and enhance AI-assisted and agentic workflows throughout the engineering lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of senior-level front-end ownership on production systems.

• Extensive production experience with React and Next.js, including SSR, SSG, ISR, and App Router.

• Proficient in clean, type-safe TypeScript.

• Demonstrated experience linking front ends with headless CMS solutions and APIs.

• Strong knowledge of Core Web Vitals, CDNs, caching, and asset optimization.

• Regular use of AI coding tools and agentic workflows.

• Professional fluency in English for daily collaboration with a US team.

• Must reside in Latin America.
