Senior Frontend Engineer – Media Production

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the design and execution of a contemporary, headless front-end architecture for a high-traffic news platform.

• Ensure the timely rollout of critical front-end releases aimed at an ambitious launch target early next year.

• Establish and promote front-end engineering standards pertaining to code quality, component design, testing, and code reviews.

• Take responsibility for Core Web Vitals, SEO, accessibility, and page-speed performance across user-facing interfaces.

• Incorporate scalable headless CMS solutions with our internal backend APIs.

• Provide mentorship to mid-level engineers and collaborate with engineering leadership on architectural strategy.

• Utilize and continually enhance AI-assisted and agentic workflows throughout the engineering lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of senior-level front-end ownership in production environments.

• Extensive production experience with React and Next.js, including SSR, SSG, ISR, and App Router.

• Proficient in TypeScript as the primary programming language.

• Demonstrated experience integrating front-ends with headless CMS and APIs.

• Solid understanding of Core Web Vitals, CDNs, caching, and asset optimization.

• Regular use of AI coding tools and agentic workflows.

• Professional proficiency in English for daily interactions with a US team.
