Senior Frontend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of intricate product features and technical initiatives from conception to deployment.

• Create and develop intuitive, high-performance user experiences utilizing Angular.

• Lead frontend architecture and technical decisions with a focus on scalability, maintainability, performance, and user experience.

• Collaborate with Product, Design, Backend teams, and fellow engineers to formulate effective solutions.

• Simplify complex technical ideas and extensive data into clear, elegant user experiences.

• Actively seek opportunities to enhance the product, architecture, and engineering practices.

• Produce clean, well-tested, and production-ready code.

• Conduct code reviews, mentor fellow engineers, and elevate the technical expertise of the team.

• Effectively leverage AI-assisted development to speed up delivery while upholding high engineering standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of professional frontend development experience, including managing complex production applications.

• Extensive experience with a prominent frontend framework (Angular, React, or Vue).

• Strong expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS/SCSS.

• Proven experience in designing scalable frontend architectures and developing complex, data-driven applications.

• Deep understanding of browser fundamentals, frontend performance, and contemporary web development practices.

• Solid grasp of UI/UX principles with a keen attention to detail.

• Familiarity with APIs, state management, testing, and modern frontend development workflows.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and capacity to independently manage complex technical tasks.

• Strong communication skills with experience in cross-functional team environments.

• Background in Angular and large-scale Angular applications.

• Experience with monorepos and tools like Nx.

• Knowledge of observability platforms, developer tools, or large-scale SaaS products.

• Experience in frontend performance optimization and data-heavy UIs.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.

• Understanding of backend technologies and distributed systems.

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and workflows.
