SAP UI/UX Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Create and develop user-focused interfaces for SAP Fiori applications within JTMS.

• Ensure that all designs adhere to Section 508 accessibility standards.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to collect requirements and outline user stories.

• Generate wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to convey design ideas effectively.

• Carry out usability testing and refine designs based on user feedback.

• Work closely with developers to ensure precise implementation of designs.

• Keep up to date with UI/UX trends, particularly in the context of defense and military applications.

• Contribute to the USTRANSCOM program and support its global transportation and logistics objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6–10 years of relevant experience.

• Proven expertise in building and designing interfaces based on SAP Fiori.

• Familiarity with SAP environments and related business processes.

• Capability to design solutions that meet Section 508 accessibility guidelines.

• Solid foundation in UX principles and best practices.

• Proficient in design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar.

• Experience in creating interactive prototypes and conducting usability assessments.

• Knowledge of SAP UI5 and SAP Web IDE.

• Understanding of best practices in responsive design.

• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Previous experience with defense-related projects is preferred.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, project managers, and stakeholders.

• Experience in supporting the migration of SAP technical architecture to public cloud environments.

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field.

• 3–5 years of experience specifically focused on SAP Fiori and SAP systems.

• A portfolio showcasing previous UI/UX projects.

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, agile environment.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

• Secret clearance is required to commence employment.

• Up to 10% local travel may be necessary.
