Senior Frontend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and continually improve contemporary frontend solutions within an agile framework.

• Analyze and execute complex business and technical requirements independently.

• Ensure the quality, performance, maintainability, and scalability of applications through rigorous coding standards.

• Actively engage in architectural and technological decision-making.

• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, UX/UI Designers, and Backend Developers to achieve project goals.

• Advocate for best practices in software engineering, including testing and code reviews.

• Take ownership of timely and reliable delivery as part of the product team.

• Identify and implement strategies to enhance development processes and application performance.

• Contribute positively to technical discussions while continually advancing the frontend ecosystem.

• Professionally utilize modern AI-driven coding assistants to enhance development quality and efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience as a Frontend Developer with Angular, HTML, TypeScript, and SCSS.

• A passion for delivering outstanding user experiences, along with comprehensive knowledge of Web Components, accessibility, and usability.

• Experience in DevOps and cloud-based environments.

• Familiarity with developing E2E tests and UI tests using Storybook and Chromatic.

• Ability to create and implement architecture-compliant solutions and document them effectively.

• Proficiency with modern AI-powered coding assistants, like GitHub Copilot.

• Openness to working on backend development in Java is advantageous.

• Excellent proficiency in both German and English languages.
