Senior Frontend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.

📋 Description

• Convert project specifications and designs into efficient, maintainable frontend code

• Define, estimate, and oversee individual tasks to adhere to established timelines

• Connect with backend APIs and external services

• Create high-quality, reusable code that prioritizes maintainability and performance

• Guarantee compatibility across different browsers and devices through thorough testing and debugging

• Develop responsive UI/UX using HTML, CSS/SASS, and vanilla JavaScript

• Employ Gulp workflows and Git version control within a collaborative coding environment

• Work alongside the broader delivery team to align on objectives and schedules

• Detect and address frontend challenges or technical obstacles

• Document frontend solutions for future maintenance and handover

• Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and project managers to fulfill requirements and meet deadlines

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in Hungary

• Proficient in HTML, CSS, and principles of responsive design at an expert level

• Mastery of JavaScript (vanilla) at an expert level

• Expert-level proficiency in React

• Expert-level knowledge of SASS development

• In-depth understanding of JSON and RESTful APIs at an expert level

• Expert-level familiarity with Gulp workflows

• Advanced knowledge of Git and best practices in version control

• Expert-level experience with cross-browser/device testing and debugging

• Proficient in working with design files and converting them into code (e.g., Figma, Sketch) at an expert level

• Expert-level skills in frontend performance tuning and optimization

• Ability to write clean and comprehensible documentation for frontend solutions at an expert level

• Comfortable utilizing ES6/ES7 features

• Experienced in integrating third-party tools and SDKs (e.g., video providers)

• Familiarity with NPM and Bower for dependency management

• Knowledgeable about web accessibility (a11y) best practices

• Understanding of SEO best practices for frontend builds

• Experienced with JIRA or similar task tracking tools
