Senior Frontend Developer – Tech Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

• Take charge of the technical direction for intricate front-end functionalities.

• Provide support to the team through design choices, reviews, and mentorship.

• Develop front-end features using React and Next.js.

• Design front-end architecture, performance enhancements, and integrations.

• Create interactive graphics and map-based user interfaces.

• Participate in technical discovery and proof-of-concept initiatives for complex interactions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript, and modern hooks-based component design.

• Capability to design scalable front-end architecture with a single source of truth while maintaining clear boundaries between UI, business logic, and data access.

• Experience in creating reusable component libraries and ensuring consistent component APIs.

• In-depth experience with Zustand, Redux Toolkit, or a similar state-management approach, including the design of efficient selectors.

• Proficient in HTML, CSS, and SCSS, with a focus on responsive design, accessibility, and style isolation.

• Experience in implementing interfaces from detailed visual specifications and utilizing design systems such as IBM Carbon or Material UI.

• Strong background in REST API integration, including the use of typed models, adapters, polling, and careful management of missing or inconsistent data.

• Experience in defining or validating API contracts with backend teams, applying contract-testing principles.

• Proven expertise in performance optimization, including profiling, memoization, code splitting, lazy loading, and bundle analysis.

• Awareness of frame rates, GPU utilization, and memory behavior on graphics-intensive displays.

• Practical experience with WebGL, three.js, or React Three Fiber, including scene and camera control, pointer picking, and animation timelines.

• Skilled at managing events and interactions across layered UI and graphics surfaces.

• Experience in integrating map SDKs, managing coordinate systems, implementing provider fallbacks, and safely handling API tokens.

• Ability to create components that seamlessly integrate into an existing host application via clean props and callbacks, isolated styles, and no unintended global side effects.

• Strong testing background with Vitest or Jest and React Testing Library, supported by a practical testing strategy.

• Experience with strict TypeScript, error boundaries, cross-browser testing, and browser development tools.

• Familiarity with contributing to CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and high-quality pull-request reviews.

• Experience with Azure DevOps.

• Demonstrated technical leadership through mentoring, task breakdown, estimation, and technical documentation.

• Understanding of front-end security fundamentals, including secure environment configuration, safe logging, and responsible third-party dependency management.

• Experience with advanced animation libraries such as GSAP or Framer Motion.

• Familiarity with charting and data visualization libraries.

• Experience with visual regression testing or end-to-end testing using Playwright.

• Experience with internationalization and localization at scale.

• Familiarity with micro-frontends, monorepos, or design-system governance.

• Experience with production observability, release support, and incident investigation.

• Experience leading technical discovery or proof-of-concept initiatives for complex interactions.
