This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Design, develop, test, and debug web applications utilizing Angular, contemporary web technologies, and relational databases.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend developers to convert design concepts into functional code.
• Address complex technical challenges with minimal supervision.
• Define product architecture and create detailed project plans.
• Mentor and evaluate team contributions, promoting the development of junior developers.
• Act as the technical authority for critical technical matters.
• Investigate and advocate for the adoption of new technologies.
• Generate cost and time estimates and make decisions to ensure project timelines are maintained.
• Suggest innovative solutions in response to changing business requirements.
• Provide Tier III technical support for urgent and complex issues.
• Diagnose and resolve critical problems.
• Monitor industry trends and continuously enhance support processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Over 10 years of experience in frontend development.
• Proficiency in CSS, HTML5, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience with MS SQL Server 2019 and T-SQL.
• Familiarity with Angular and the Angular Material Library.
• Competence in Visual Studio and Bootstrap.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, XML, and JSON.
• Understanding of DevOps and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with multi-tier Internet/Intranet applications and established design patterns.
• Some familiarity with AngularJS and SASS.
• Experience in developing for Accessibility.
• Outstanding debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong analytical and design skills.
• Excellent time management abilities and a keen attention to quality.
• Quick learner capable of meeting tight deadlines.
• Team-oriented mindset and exceptional communication skills.
• Willingness to provide off-hours support and participate in meetings as necessary.
