Senior Frontend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create and improve high-quality web interfaces.

• Ensure optimal application performance, accessibility, and security.

• Act as a technical resource for the team.

• Assist in making frontend architecture decisions.

• Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior team members.

• Develop dynamic, responsive, and high-performance interfaces utilizing modern frameworks.

• Design and uphold reusable components that align with the company’s Design System.

• Ensure compliance with UX, UI, and accessibility best practices.

• Collaborate with Design, Backend, Product, and QA teams to deliver cohesive solutions.

• Implement automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.

• Conduct code reviews, share knowledge, and foster the technical development of the team.

• Contribute to architectural decisions in frontend projects.

• Monitor and enhance performance and code quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related fields (such as web design, product design, business administration, physics, chemistry, engineering, or a related postgraduate degree).

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in advanced frontend development.

• Experience in creating, maintaining, and documenting component Design Systems.

• Strong background in component performance and scalability.

• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 (SASS/LESS, CSS Modules, Styled Components), and JavaScript (ES6+).

• Expertise in at least one of the major frontend frameworks.

• Knowledge of state management.

• Familiarity with Git and version control systems.

• Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).

• Proficient in TypeScript.

• Understanding of maps and geolocation.

• Experience with REST API integration.

• Familiarity with automated testing.

• Comprehension of Clean Code principles.

• Knowledge of SOLID principles and frontend architecture best practices.

• Awareness of WebGL.

• Unit testing capabilities.

• Proficiency in React.

• Experience with GIS / MapLibre.js.

• Knowledge of client-side caching.

• Experience in Design System creation.

• Understanding of accessibility and Dark Mode.

• Familiarity with MapLibre.js for maps is a plus.
