Senior Front-End Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, improve, and sustain intricate web applications utilizing Vue.js, Nuxt.js, and TypeScript.

• Play a key role in establishing front-end architecture, coding standards, and making technical decisions.

• Create or oversee independent front ends based on domain or business context.

• Maintain high technical quality, emphasizing performance, accessibility, and usability.

• Collaborate with design, product, and back-end teams from the inception of solutions through to implementation.

• Act as a technical resource for the team by facilitating code reviews, technical discussions, and advocating best practices.

• Identify opportunities for continuous enhancements to the codebase and user experience.

• Employ an AI-first approach by leveraging AI tools to expedite development, code review, and learning.

• Ensure cross-browser and device compatibility across various usage scenarios.

• Contribute to the advancement of front-end development methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Senior Front-End Developer.

• High-level proficiency in Vue.js, Nuxt.js, and TypeScript.

• In-depth understanding of HTML5 and contemporary JavaScript.

• Experience with front-end application architecture, reusable components, and state management.

• Strong familiarity with Git, version control, and collaborative workflows.

• Capability to make independent technical decisions while assessing trade-offs.

• Experience with microfrontends.

• Familiarity with automated testing, including unit and/or end-to-end testing.

• Preferred: experience in web performance, accessibility (a11y), and front-end observability.

• Preferred: regular usage of AI tools like GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar solutions.

• Preferred: ability to technically influence fellow developers through mentoring or informal leadership.

• Preferred: experience in automating development workflows, such as with GitHub Actions.

• Preferred: knowledge of Go and/or Rails.

• Preferred: experience transitioning from a monolithic to a microfrontend architecture.
