This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of essential elements within the annual budgeting process and the ongoing rolling forecasts across various departments and business lines.
• Develop and sustain integrated financial models that encompass revenue, headcount, operating expenses, and capital planning.
• Collaborate with department leaders to gather and verify budget inputs.
• Track actual performance against budget and forecasts, clarify variances, and suggest corrective actions.
• Create long-term strategic and financial planning models.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages for leadership and, when necessary, the Board of Directors.
• Construct and maintain dashboards and KPI reports for revenue, bookings, retention, margin, and operational metrics.
• Analyze business performance, trends, and risks.
• Work with Accounting to ensure alignment of actual results, forecasts, and management reporting.
• Serve as an FP&A business partner to Sales, Account Management, Clinical, and Operations teams.
• Assist with pricing strategies, deal economics, contract negotiations, new products, partnerships, and go-to-market initiatives through financial modeling and analysis.
• Provide ad hoc analysis for strategic initiatives, M&A evaluation and integration planning, and reports for investors or lenders.
• Convert complex financial data into actionable summaries for stakeholders outside of finance.
• Construct business cases and ROI analyses for resource allocation and investment decisions.
• Evaluate revenue trends, client profitability, and unit economics across EAP, behavioral health, and wellbeing product lines.
• Model pipeline conversion, deal sizing, and the impact of net new bookings on forecasts.
• Monitor SaaS and healthcare services metrics, including ARR, net revenue retention, and CAC/LTV.
• Identify opportunities for margin improvement and cost efficiency.
• Standardize planning calendars, templates, and reporting schedules.
• Enhance financial systems, planning tools, and reporting automation, including the implementation and integration of new systems.
• Ensure data integrity across financial planning tools, CRM systems, and accounting software.
• Mentor junior analysts and assist with onboarding as the function expands.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Sales Operations, HR, and Clinical Operations to align financial data.
• Support tracking and reporting of commissions and bonuses for the GTM team.
• Aid in the annual audit and external reporting processes.
• Assist leadership with capital planning, resource allocation, and investment prioritization analysis.
• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, or a similar analytical role.
• Proven experience in supporting budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
• Strong financial modeling abilities, including experience with multi-scenario and driver-based models.
• Experience in preparing financial analysis and reporting materials for leadership review.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
• Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce for pipeline-linked forecasting.
• Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, benefits, or healthcare technology is preferred.
• An MBA, CFA, CPA, or other relevant advanced degree/certification is preferred.
• Experience in a high-growth, private equity-backed, or venture-backed healthcare services or SaaS environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of EAP, behavioral health, or employee benefits business models and unit economics is preferred.
• Proficiency with financial planning tools such as Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, or Vena is preferred.
• Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems such as NetSuite is preferred.
• Proficiency with BI/reporting platforms such as Power BI or Tableau is preferred.
• Minimal travel is required (up to 5%).
