Senior FOIA Analyst, Program Analyst IV

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate and manage intricate FOIA requests, appeals, and legal cases

• Perform disclosure assessments and identify relevant FOIA exemptions

• Create Vaughn indices and documentation to support litigation

• Examine and redact sensitive documents

• Compose FOIA correspondence and prepare release packages

• Assist with agency appeals and legal proceedings

• Collaborate with agency stakeholders and legal advisors

• Guide junior analysts and carry out quality assurance reviews

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a U.S. resident

• Bachelor's Degree

• At least 10 years of experience with FOIA

• Proven proficiency in FOIA disclosure assessments and exemption evaluations

• Background in reviewing extensive amounts of electronic records

• Familiarity with Relativity or eDiscovery is preferred

• Experience with FOIA litigation and appeals is preferred

• Knowledge of the Privacy Act and HIPAA is preferred

• Experience with CMS or HHS is preferred
