Senior Financial Insights Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Identify and address areas of P&L leakage through the analysis of financial and transactional data.

• Navigate invoice challenges with retailers while ensuring accurate invoicing practices.

• Create and sustain real-time alerting capabilities enabled by AI and automation.

• Cultivate expertise in marketplace data, reporting functionalities, and invoicing procedures.

• Investigate invoice challenges and utilize retailer partnerships for effective resolution.

• Connect and analyze intricate datasets from various systems using SQL, Excel or Google Sheets, and Python.

• Distill findings into clear, visually engaging narratives.

• Present insights to both internal and external stakeholders through Google Slides or PowerPoint.

• Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• Prioritize significant issues and break down ambiguous challenges into efficient, high-quality solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Strategic Finance, FP&A, Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Management Consulting, specifically supporting commercial deals or growth initiatives in technology, e-commerce, marketplace, logistics, or retail.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related quantitative discipline (or equivalent practical experience).

• Strong analytical and technical capabilities.

• Proficient in crafting compelling narratives and identifying impactful insights.

• Skilled in creating visually appealing presentations that motivate retailers to take action.

• Capable of integrating large datasets from multiple systems and establishing real-time alerting functions.

• Experience with PowerPoint and Google Slides.

• Proficient in writing advanced SQL queries.

• Ability to navigate ambiguity and devise effective, high-quality problem-solving strategies.

• Preferred: Over 2 years of experience implementing AI solutions within a business sector.

• Preferred: Familiarity with marketplace or retailer/CPG partnerships, multi-sided platform economics, and/or merchant POS data analysis.

• Preferred: Collaborative experience with Sales or Account Management regarding deal terms and partner economics.

• Preferred: Background in Investment Banking or Consulting.
