Senior Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of financial modeling, reporting, and variance analysis for essential business relationships.

• Act as the main tactical finance contact.

• Oversee regular reporting that clarifies variances, identifies trends, and converts findings into narratives suitable for stakeholders.

• Develop and sustain financial models for forecasting and scenario analysis.

• Collaborate with the Manager, RES FP&A on strategic projects.

• Work alongside Accounting and cross-functional teams to ensure precise month-end close and reporting consistency.

• Integrate Workday, Adaptive Planning, and core business data to enhance model precision.

• Create automated reporting dashboards utilizing SQL, Snowflake, and BI tools.

• Provide thought leadership on scenario modeling.

• Identify risks and opportunities while promoting the adoption of AI tools and modern FP&A platforms.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, strategic finance, or a related area.

• Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to facilitate business decisions and financial planning.

• Strong skills in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.

• Advanced Excel proficiency.

• Experience handling large datasets and financial systems.

• Capability to interpret complex financial data into clear, actionable narratives for stakeholders.

• Familiarity with SQL or other data querying languages.

• Preferred: Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning, Workday Financial, or similar FP&A platforms.

• Preferred: Practical experience with Snowflake or other cloud data warehouses.

• Preferred: Proficiency in Tableau or similar BI/visualization tools.

• Preferred: Knowledge of AI tools and automation platforms as applied to finance or analytics workflows.

• Preferred: Experience in translating financial analysis into actionable recommendations for cross-functional partners outside of core finance.

• Preferred: Background in real estate, technology, or other rapidly growing, operationally complex sectors.

• Preferred: Understanding of performance measurement frameworks such as OKRs.
