Senior Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Provide technical and general accounting support to the Controller.

• Execute bank reconciliations for the current fiscal year.

• Evaluate financial data, accounting procedures, and business systems.

• Identify challenges and generate reports.

• Suggest enhancements to accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.

• Offer guidance to department staff on accounting-related issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

• Familiarity with fund accounting and healthcare accounting practices.

• Proven experience in managing and maintaining accounting systems.

• Background in generating financial reports for medical groups and physician networks.

• Proficient in computerized general ledger and subsidiary accounting systems.

• Comprehension of the flow of financial information.

• Capability to recommend system improvements and modifications.

• Expertise in spreadsheet and word processing software.

• Experience in analyzing financial data and preparing reports, presentations, and communications.

• Availability from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST.
