This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the execution of accounting and finance systems initiatives.
• Take charge of significant projects and act as a program leader across various related initiatives.
• Assess the effects of system and process modifications on personnel, workflows, and technology.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to outline project purpose, objectives, milestones, strategic components, and risks.
• Create and sustain project plans, timelines, and milestones.
• Recognize risks and dependencies, and implement strategies for mitigation.
• Monitor and manage project scope, schedule, and risks utilizing structured tools and processes.
• Facilitate clear communication among project teams, stakeholders, and end users.
• Organize training, communications, and process mapping sessions.
• Coordinate both internal and external resources while managing deliverables and timelines.
• Promote collaboration and communication across various teams.
• Provide project-level reporting to assist in portfolio decision-making.
• Raise risks and issues along with recommendations and trade-offs.
• Guide and mentor junior project managers and team members.
• Enhance project management capabilities through coaching, tools, and best practices.
• Collaborate with teams implementing financial programs, systems, and processes.
• Assess the impacts on personnel, procedures, and technologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• A Master's degree or professional certification (CMA, PMP, Agile) is preferred.
• At least 7+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or project management.
• Demonstrated success in managing complex projects effectively.
• Capacity to lead intricate, cross-functional initiatives with visibility at the executive level.
• Strong business acumen is essential.
• Experience in supporting corporate functions like operations, strategy, finance, or shared services.
• Ability to foster relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
• Strong skills in problem-solving, prioritization, and decision-making.
• Proven experience in facilitating meetings and workshops.
• Established background in change management and promoting organizational adoption.
• Experience with ERP, financial systems, reporting platforms, or digital transformation initiatives is preferred.
• Ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority and navigate complex organizational structures.
• Experience managing projects involving multiple workstreams, competing priorities, and substantial organizational impact.
• Willingness to embrace innovation and the application of evolving technology and AI tools.
