Senior Finance Analyst, Functions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Review and provide timely, accurate, and consistent financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and analysis for a designated business group or function.

• Convert financial metrics into actionable insights that enhance decision-making, improve performance, and drive business growth.

• Conduct financial assessments of new business development opportunities.

• Create ad hoc analyses and intricate models, including cost-of-services and related trend analysis.

• Spearhead data and technology enhancements that support the standardization and simplification of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.

• Prepare sophisticated financial reports and presentations for business teams and stakeholders.

• Foster partnerships with cross-functional finance teams to support finance strategies and achieve business objectives.

• Design and implement tools, benchmarking, models, and reporting mechanisms to ensure accurate and transparent insights.

• Manage critical financial risks and assist in integrated business planning, forecasting, and operating reviews.

• Track performance against strategic decisions through financial modeling, scenario planning, and valuation techniques.

• Facilitate commercial discussions, review inputs from stakeholders, and create quantitative summaries for senior team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

• A minimum of 4 years of pertinent work experience.

• Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and financial analysis.

• Proficiency in complex financial modeling, scenario planning, valuation, and KPI assessment.

• Capability to develop and implement financial tools, models, benchmarking, and reporting systems.

• Aptitude for analyzing financial and non-financial trends and assessing business performance.

• Skill in preparing financial presentations and quantitative summaries.

• Ability to coordinate stakeholder inputs and assist senior team decision-making.
