Senior Field Service Engineer – Control Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Norway.

📋 Description

• Identify and resolve technical issues and customer queries using the Remedy case management system.

• Deliver on-site assistance to clients throughout Norway, including both onshore and offshore locations.

• Diagnose and restore intricate control systems within critical operational settings.

• Conduct proactive system health assessments to enhance reliability, performance, and customer satisfaction.

• Participate in projects that range from minor system adjustments to significant implementation and upgrade efforts.

• Collaborate with engineers located in Bergen and Hammerfest, as well as customers and project teams.

• Assist clients with remote incident resolution, field services, and project-related tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automation, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 5 years of pertinent professional experience.

• Extensive experience with ABB 800xA and/or Advant/Safeguard systems.

• Strong analytical skills along with troubleshooting and fault-diagnosing abilities.

• Capability to work autonomously and handle multiple tasks effectively.

• Willingness to travel approximately 20-50% as part of the job responsibilities.

• Professional fluency in English.
