Senior Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Facilitate the swift resolution of intricate customer issues

• Equip team members with essential functional expertise

• Work collaboratively with colleagues at the point of impact and throughout the organization

• Recognize and execute opportunities for enhancement

• Serve as a change agent to maintain efficient processes and standardized practices

• Provide exceptional customer satisfaction through prompt and proficient responses and clear communication

• Partner with the Service Team to deliver professional after-sales support

• Assist Sales Representatives with installations and demonstrations/exhibitions

• Carry out service, repair, and installation of products or IT solutions at customer locations

• Conduct electrical and mechanical testing in accordance with maintenance agreements

• Address customer support inquiries within a designated territory

• Identify and resolve system failures while determining the most cost-effective solutions

• Refer complex issues to higher-level technical support or the quality reporting system

• Support current customers and assist in identifying new clients and opportunities in the field

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is required

• Proficiency in English and Italian

• Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Excellent communication abilities

• Willingness to travel within the Triveneto Region and potentially across Italy, with up to 70% travel required

• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record

• Capability to lift, move, or carry equipment and tools

• Experience with Confocal systems, maintenance, and repairs is advantageous

• Background in handling repairs, calibrations, upgrades, and related tasks is a plus

• Skills in networking, influencing, and effective communication across various functions and levels is beneficial

• Experience in training and/or coaching is a plus
