Senior EWM Configuration Lead – Implementation & Maintenance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance activities for the OneRTX initiative.

• Create comprehensive processes utilizing best practices, optimize process harmonization opportunities, assess gaps, and make scope determinations.

• Work alongside external resources and internal RTX team members to configure and enhance system capabilities.

• Aid in the creation and execution of test scenarios and scripts, business-user testing, and issue resolution.

• Facilitate the transition from legacy systems to new environments, including go-live support and post-go-live hypercare.

• Design, configure, and implement SAP EWM solutions for inbound and outbound logistics, putaway, stock transfers, and physical inventory management.

• Conduct workshops to showcase standard SAP EWM processes and capture logistics and warehousing requirements.

• Lead implementation initiatives, encompassing training, functional specifications, SIT/UAT testing, go-live assistance, and post-implementation support.

• Integrate SAP EWM with SAP S/4HANA SD, PP, and QM modules as well as third-party systems.

• Collaborate with the Global Trade and Services team on integration efforts.

• Engage with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, manage tasks autonomously, and offer proactive assistance.

• Willingness to travel up to 25% as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• University Degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with at least 7 years of experience, or 14 years of relevant experience without a degree.

• Practical technical experience in configuring, building, and implementing SAP EWM.

• Familiarity with core warehouse processes, RF framework, Value-Added Services, LOSC/POSC, handling unit management, serial numbers, kitting, and material flow systems.

• Experience with integration technologies such as CIF, qRFC, IDOC, RFC, and BAPI.

• Background in implementing Decentralized Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) with SAP S/4HANA.

• Ability to travel up to 25%.

• U.S. Person status is required.

• Knowledge of the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) is preferred.

• Exposure to transportation management or integration with Transportation Management systems is preferred.

• Experience with large, complex Aerospace & Defense enterprise projects or similarly regulated large organizations is preferred.

• Familiarity with agile frameworks or iterative approaches to software development and implementation projects is preferred.
