Senior Enterprise Architect / Senior Technical Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Design solutions and create comprehensive plans for the modernization and migration to Salesforce.

• Facilitate integration between legacy systems and emerging technologies.

• Incorporate Java, z/OS Connect, IBM HATS, mainframe, and other legacy systems into new frameworks.

• Offer expertise in legacy systems, business processes, Salesforce, and architectural design.

• Produce solution specifications, business rules, conceptual designs, data models, and system design documents.

• Collect and document requirements for realigning business processes.

• Develop, modify, transition, and test application integration code.

• Create automated tests and conduct unit, system integration, end-to-end, and various other testing cycles.

• Analyze user feedback and assist in development or conversion efforts.

• Manage project risks, schedules, communications, costs, change control, and quality assurance.

• Evaluate existing architecture, assess legacy systems, identify gaps, and deliver solution-based platforms.

• Establish and oversee CI/CD and release management processes.

• Organize releases, defect resolutions, enhancements, and production incident reporting.

• Engage in knowledge sharing, mentoring, walkthroughs, training, and knowledge transfer activities.

• Provide post-go-live defect triage, system monitoring, and technical support.

• Develop and sustain technical and operational documentation.

• Create materials for maintenance and operations, transition, technical guides, glossaries, and data dictionaries.

• Implement monitoring, automation, and reporting systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in aligning IT systems with organizational business processes.

• At least five (5) years of experience in a lead capacity for aligning IT systems with organizational business processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related or Engineering field, with equivalent experience substitutable year-for-year.

• Minimum of seven (7) years of experience applying Enterprise Architecture principles.

• At least five (5) years of experience in a lead capacity applying Enterprise Architecture principles.

• Minimum of three (3) years of Senior Architect experience within the last ten (10) years on projects involving system customization with a contract value of at least $250,000.

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience within the last ten (10) years on projects involving modern application stacks.

• Capability to provide client/user end reference contact information for each applicable qualifying project.

• Reference contacts must represent the company for which the project was developed and have held a management or supervisory role.

• Must be a legal resident of the United States.
