• Lead ClassDojo's IT operations, reporting directly to the CTO.

• Oversee identity management and the employee lifecycle utilizing Okta, Google Workspace, and an automated pipeline driven by HRIS.

• Manage a Mac-first MDM fleet while ensuring nearly 100% coverage.

• Maintain complete passwordless authentication and support security incident response efforts.

• Facilitate onboarding, offboarding, support, AI triage, and self-service operations.

• Govern a SaaS stack of over 50 tools, along with the IT budget and vendor relationships.

• Oversee Claude and ChatGPT accounts.

• Leverage AI and automation to minimize manual IT tasks.

• Ensure IT-owned SOC 2 controls are maintained in an audit-ready condition with system-generated evidence.

• Enhance inherited automation, efficiency, documentation, and operational transparency.

• Experience managing IT independently in an organization with over 200 staff members.

• Proficient in Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, and managing an HRIS-driven employee lifecycle.

• Responsible for a production Mac fleet under MDM, which includes migration or baseline rebuilding.

• Administered ChatGPT and Claude or equivalent AI tools within a corporate setting.

• Developed automations that effectively replaced manual IT tasks with quantifiable outcomes.

• Skilled in automation through scripts, APIs, logs, and administrative consoles.

• Possess sound security judgment and experience in a SOC 2 environment.

• Direct experience in user support, with measurable metrics to demonstrate effectiveness.

• Capable of writing documentation and articulating technical decisions to executive leadership.

• Possess an ownership mindset.

• Reside in the US, preferably on the East or West Coast, and be available for travel to San Francisco.

• Experience with AWS IAM Identity Center and Terraform or similar configuration-as-code tools is a bonus.

• Familiarity with office buildouts, BYOD policy implementations, international contractors, Windows, and ChromeOS is also a bonus.
