This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Lead the Go Core Platform team, which consists of three full-stack squads focused on the Go API, Hosted Journeys, and Interactions Editor value streams.
• Take ownership of delivery results, project scope, sequencing, quality, predictability, and dependencies across squads.
• Collaborate with architects and senior engineers on API design, versioning, journey runtime behavior, configuration modeling, and platform boundaries.
• Create and enforce shared standards for reliability, performance, observability, security, platform resilience, and management of technical debt.
• Drive the adoption and evaluation of AI-assisted development within squads, including coding agents, review assistance, test generation, and documentation.
• Establish AI engineering standards, review expectations, evaluation methods, and quality and security guidelines.
• Lead, mentor, hire, and develop full-stack engineers, tech leads, and senior individual contributors within the three squads.
• Set performance expectations, provide constructive feedback, and oversee career progression.
• Collaborate with Product leadership to define the Go Core roadmap.
• Communicate technical trade-offs, risks, and confidence levels to commercial and executive stakeholders.
• Act as the representative of the group during incidents, escalations, and critical customer situations, and lead subsequent actions.
• Extensive experience in engineering management, particularly in leading multiple teams or squads, ideally overseeing 20+ engineers directly and through tech leads.
• Proven track record in delivering and managing customer-facing SaaS platforms at scale, including public APIs, embedded/hosted experiences, or configuration-driven products.
• Solid full-stack technical expertise across both service and front-end domains.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, trunk-based development, feature flagging, progressive delivery, testing strategies, and observability.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development workflows.
• Familiarity with metrics and systems thinking.
• Ability to lead effectively in a globally distributed environment and influence peers and squads not directly under your management.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with technical, product, and executive audiences.
• Experience in identity verification, fraud prevention, KYC/AML, RegTech, or other regulated data domains (preferred).
• Background in journey orchestration, workflow engines, low-code configuration tools, or embeddable SDKs and widgets (preferred).
• Experience in building or scaling internal developer platforms and enablement practices (preferred).
