Senior Engineering Manager, Product

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead a full-stack engineering team from the definition of problems to production, measurement, and iteration.

• Convert company objectives into clear outcomes, investment decisions, and a detailed execution plan.

• Establish engineering strategies focused on quality, reliability, security, privacy, and operational health.

• Deliver AI-enhanced products and enhance the team's engagement with AI.

• Recruit and nurture engineering talent, set performance benchmarks, and manage performance-related concerns.

• Ensure visibility of capacity, dependencies, forecasts, and risks from the outset.

• Collaborate with Product, Design, and customer-facing teams to transform customer challenges into deliverable products with measurable adoption and impact.

• Maintain ownership of product and platform health across web, mobile, and backend systems, overseeing rollout, reliability, privacy, and support implications.

• Utilize customer behavior, operational indicators, and production data to determine what to build, simplify, or discontinue.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in leading an engineering team that achieved measurable customer or business outcomes.

• Technical expertise to critically assess architecture, product, data, reliability, and operational decisions.

• Experience in setting engineering strategy and making investment and prioritization decisions.

• Track record of shipping an AI-driven product or workflow to production and articulating the measurable outcomes.

• Experience in hiring and developing engineers, establishing succession plans, and addressing performance issues.

• Proven ability to build partnerships across Product, Design, and business teams.

• Background in vertical SaaS, education, fintech, healthcare, CRM, e-commerce, or another operations-heavy domain is a plus.

• Experience leading significant changes in product direction, architecture, or operational models is advantageous.

• Experience in developing production-level AI products, agents, evaluation systems, or automation tools is beneficial.

• Proven experience in creating customer-facing products with measurable adoption or outcome impact is a plus.

• Familiarity with utilizing customer feedback and production data to enhance outcomes for web, mobile, or backend products.
